Creativity is not just about creating art, though that is my specialty. That is just one field of endeavour. Creativity occurs in all fields of human existence, including business, sport, and even in our family lives. When you write a shopping list, or a 'to do' list, that is an act of creativity. When we consider this a moment, we realise that something as complex and crucial as our national economy is built on every person's creative choices - how we build products and services, how we choose them, how these are delivered, how problems are solved and so much more. In fact, our worlds, western and eastern, are all built on individual creativity. Our place resides within this world according to our creative choices and the results these bring.... right down to that shopping list!
Creativity is about our personal power. This is not to be confused with personal control - I can't help you with that. And control is not necessarily something to be desired, because when we seek to control something it can also control us. Personal power is something very different, and something we desire in our daily lives. This is the power to make choices, and the power to express ourselves to ensure we receive the utmost from opportunities which lay in our life's path.
Sometimes our opportunities lay hidden. By obtaining our personal power, we open up life's opportunities, and we are given the tools to be better able to walk that path of sharing, and receiving, in its gifts.
